About Her
Some photographers take pictures. I tell stories—sometimes with light, sometimes with shadow, but always with feeling.
I’m Aleah. A visual narrator for the quietly bold, the deeply emotional, and the not-so-obvious romantics. I shoot with a cinematic lens and an editorial eye, pulling from a world of love films, documentaries, and the kind of human moments you almost miss if you're not paying attention.
I’ve been behind the camera for over 15 years, but I’ve been studying people longer than that. Raised as the youngest of all sisters with a creative, strict father, I spent a lot of my early years observing—people, dynamics, mistakes, silence. I learned how to read the unspoken, feel energy in the room, and tell the truth without ever saying a word. That’s what I bring into my work.
My shoots are moody, conceptual, and grounded in emotion. I don't pose to check boxes. I direct to tell stories. Whether it’s a maternity session or a brand campaign, I tap into atmosphere, relationship dynamics, and unspoken tension to find something real—because one day, when that photo is all you have left, it should still make you feel something.
I’m faith-driven. I don’t just work with integrity—I work with intention. Every project I take on gets my full heart because I genuinely believe in treating people well, creating with depth, and leaving a legacy. That legacy might look like a couple locked in an honest embrace, a mother cradling her baby, or a model embodying a concept only the two of us understood in the moment.
I live in Southern California with four kids, a dry sense of humor, and an insatiable love for storytelling, eating good food, and making art out of feelings. I may not say much when we meet, but trust—I get you. And I’ll get your story too.
